According to the National Bureau of Grapes and Wine, during the event, government officials, grape growers, winemakers, experts, and industry partners will discuss preparations for the new wine-making year, current challenges, opportunities, and prospects for development. During the discussion of the situation in the wine sector, key aspects currently affecting the industry will be examined, ranging from production and export trends and positioning in foreign markets to the phytosanitary context of grapevines, wine inventory management, and producers' reporting obligations—including the submission of declarations, notifications, and data updates to the Wine Registry. In another module, speakers will discuss the key instruments and conditions that can support investment in the wine sector from 2026 to 2030, ranging from measures outlined in the Strategic Program on Agricultural Policies and Market Access to the macroeconomic context and its implications for investment, as well as available solutions for financing the sector's development. Subsidies and investment support mechanisms are expected to be among the key topics discussed at the conference. Sergiu Gherciu, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, will present a report on the application of subsidies for 2026 and the near future, with an emphasis on measures related to planned investments and areas of support for the development of the wine sector.
