According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the "European Courtyard" program continues to transform the courtyards of apartment buildings in Chisinau, making them safer, more accessible, and more comfortable for residents. This week, 12 more projects were completed, bringing the total number of courtyards completed during the program's first phase to 30. Specifically, in the Botanica district, three courtyards were renovated and put into operation at 6 Valia Сrucii Street, 42 Independenței Street, and 8/1 Botanica Veche Street. As part of the work, asphalt surfaces and sidewalks were renewed, playgrounds and recreational areas were developed, and street furniture was installed. The areas surrounding apartment buildings were also repaired and reinforced to prevent water infiltration and structural damage. In the first phase, out of the 88 courtyards included in the program, 30 have already been completed, 42 are currently under renovation, and construction companies have yet to be selected for 16 projects.
