According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the ban on flights of any unmanned aerial vehicles applies to all drone users and operators. The only exception is for flights for which special permission has been granted for the specified date. At the same time, the Chișinău City Hall warned that the State Protection and Guard Service is imposing access restrictions in certain areas of the capital in connection with the military parade on August 27, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Moldova's declaration of independence, and the participation of the country's leadership and high-ranking foreign guests in official events. The restricted area will cover the city's central streets, as well as certain sections of streets in the Botanica and Buiucani sectors, Aleea Gării Alley, Dacia Blvd. Dacia from Chișinău Airport and Ciuflea Street, as well as the "Eternity" memorial complex. Restrictions will also apply to streets, specific sections, and public spaces within the designated perimeter. Exceptions are provided for authorized social and cultural events commemorating the 35th anniversary of independence. The General Police Inspectorate and the Chișinău Police Department will ensure public order and inform individuals and legal entities holding or planning gatherings in the specified locations. // 26.08.2026 — InfoMarket.
