The State Tax Service of Moldova announced that economic agents using nine models of cash register and control equipment that have been removed from the Unified Register must deregister them by November 30, cease their operation, and replace them with devices compatible with the "Electronic Sales Monitoring" information system (SIA MEV). This requirement applies to the following models: TREMOL FP 15-KL, ACLAS CRL-SD, ACLAS CRV-SD, ORGTECH mini-G, ORGTECH 2015, PPEU.260-Petrom Moldova, DATECS DP-25 SD, DATECS WP-500 SD, and DATECS FP-700 SD, which were removed from the registry on November 20, 2025, and whose authorized period of use expires on November 30. Taxpayers must purchase certified equipment compatible with SIA MEV and then submit an application through a service center to register it in the system. A separate application must be filed for each piece of equipment. A list of certified models and suppliers is published on the website mev.sfs.md. SIA MEV collects data on transactions conducted through cash registers and control equipment, provides real-time sales monitoring, and is used for tax risk analysis. // 21.08.2026 — InfoMarket.
