Specifically, FINEDU Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, is launching the Public Finance Trust Barometer—a tool designed to assess citizens' level of understanding and perception of how public funds are managed, as well as their level of trust in the public finance system. The Barometer is designed to identify citizens' views on the allocation and use of public resources, as well as their assessment of transparency, fairness, efficiency, and accountability in their management. The questionnaire contains 20 questions and is addressed to representatives of central and local government bodies, the business community, civil society, the academic community, development partners, and all interested citizens. As noted by the Ministry of Finance, completing this questionnaire is an opportunity to contribute to improving the management of public finances. The responses will help identify public expectations and areas where improvements are needed to enhance transparency and public trust.
