This is provided for by the relevant amendments to the Horticulture Act, which Parliament adopted in the second reading with the aim of updating the regulatory framework and adapting it to the current needs of the horticulture sector. In particular, the Horticulture Act has been supplemented with provisions concerning the fruiting and acceptance of orchards. The new provisions clearly establish criteria for determining the date of the start of fruit production for orchards, depending on the cultivation system, the growth rate of the rootstock and the variety, as well as the type of planting material used. The commissioning and acceptance of orchard plantings in the first year of vegetation are carried out in accordance with the provisions approved by the government. As noted by the Ministry of Agriculture, these amendments align the regulatory framework with modern production conditions and provide agricultural producers with clear rules for the acceptance of orchard plantings, thereby promoting the effective use of investments in this sector. // 11.09.2026 — InfoMarket
