Five-day programme will explore investment, exports, capital markets, technology, energy, logistics and other high-potential sectors in the Republic of Moldova
CHIȘINĂU, Republic of Moldova, September 22, 2026 — More than 30 events, study visits, sector-focused forums, B2B meetings and networking sessions will take place during the 11th edition of Moldova Business Week (MBW) 2026, held from 28 September to 2 October in Chișinău.
This year's programme is structured around three strategic pillars: European economic integration, sectoral investment profiles and the export of services. Over five days, investors, business leaders, public authorities, experts and international partners will examine investment opportunities, developments in high-potential sectors and new avenues for integrating the Moldovan economy into European and international markets.
The international dimension of MBW 2026 will include business delegations from four continents, as well as 16 international journalists from 10 countries, expanding opportunities for business dialogue, international partnerships and visibility for Moldova's economic potential.
Five days of investment and business dialogue
The programme will open on 28 September with the Official Opening of Moldova Business Week 2026, hosted by Natalia Bejan, Director of the Invest Moldova Agency, with the participation of Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vasile Tofan and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalisation Claudiu Năsui.
The opening day will focus on dialogue between public authorities and the business community and on the priorities shaping Moldova's economic development.
Key moments will include the official launch of the Moldova International Stock Exchange (BIMx) and its online platform, alongside the presentation of new digital services allowing entrepreneurs to register and license companies online through a single access point.
The programme will also feature an "Investing in Moldova" session and a presentation of Moldova HiTech Park, a planned 50-hectare national innovation campus with investment potential exceeding €200 million across research and development, advanced manufacturing, laboratories, office facilities and smart infrastructure.
Later that day, the Capital Market Forum will address the development of Moldova's capital market, while the Moldova–Romania Investment Roundtable will focus on trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Sector-focused forums and direct access to companies
On 29 September, the programme will turn to investment projects and productive sectors. The Moldova Real Estate Forum 2026 will explore opportunities in the property market, while the session "Moldova as a Partner in Ukraine's Recovery and Reconstruction" will examine Moldova's potential role in regional reconstruction efforts and related economic partnerships.
International investors will also receive a practical overview of Moldova's tax framework during "Moldova Tax Gateway: A Practical Guide for International Investors."
Study visits will provide direct access to Moldovan companies and production facilities in sectors including automotive, agri-food, fashion and IT.
The programme for 30 September will focus on business services, innovation and the investment support ecosystem. The Moldova Global Business Services & Investment Forum 2026 will highlight opportunities in services, technology and investment, while a dedicated session will present services and solutions available to investors entering or expanding in the Moldovan market.
A major milestone will be the official launch of the Moldova Innovation Fund, a financing instrument of more than €1 million for startups and technology entrepreneurship.
The day will also include "Country Image Promotion in Action: Tools, Practices and Partnerships," exploring how tourism, wine, culture, sport and the business community contribute to Moldova's international visibility.
Exports, electronics, industry and artificial intelligence
On 1 October, Moldova Business Week will focus on electronics, exports, industrial development, tourism and artificial intelligence.
The Moldova Electronics Forum will examine production expansion and investment opportunities in a sector increasingly integrated into European value chains. The Moldova Export Forum will address export developments and will include the "Top 25 Exporters from Moldova" programme.
Other sessions will explore the competitiveness of Moldova's industrial sector, tourism as an export service and the use of artificial intelligence in business.
Study visits to Premier Energy and Holcim Moldova will provide participants with practical insights into the energy market and the construction materials industry.
The final day, 2 October, will bring together three major themes: fintech, energy and logistics. The programme will include the Fintech Moldova Conference 2026, Power UP – Moldova Energy Forum 2.0 and the Moldova Logistics Forum, focusing respectively on financial digitalisation, energy-sector investment and infrastructure, and Moldova's role in regional trade flows.
Networking designed to generate business connections
Beyond the formal programme, Moldova Business Week 2026 places a strong emphasis on direct interaction between participants.
B2B meetings, roundtables, company visits and networking sessions are designed to connect investors, exporters, buyers, suppliers and potential business partners.
Participants will also have access to Cardneto, the event's dedicated networking platform, allowing them to identify relevant contacts and schedule business meetings before and during the event.
