As noted in the state-owned company's statement, 676,193 bills were issued to residential customers and 5,550 to non-residential customers. Of the total, 99,325 bills were sent via email. The total volume of natural gas included in the invoices amounted to approximately 9.33 million cubic meters. Specifically, residential consumers used 8,139,069.26 cubic meters, while non-residential consumers used 1,192,104 cubic meters. The bills were generated based on data provided to Energocom by distribution system operators—Chișinău-Gaz, Ialoveni-Gaz, Bălți-Gaz, Cahul-Gaz, and others. Energocom notes that, as a universal supplier, it relies exclusively on data provided by distribution system operators. The distribution operator is responsible for physically reading the meters, recording the data reported by consumers, and transmitting it to the supplier, or, where applicable, for calculating the estimated consumption based on usage history. If the meter readings reported by the consumer do not match the data on the bill, the consumer should contact the natural gas distribution system operator to verify and, if necessary, correct the information. The invoice reflects payments recorded as of September 15. Payments made after that date are not reflected in the current bill; however, the amounts paid are recorded in the consumer's account, included in the balance, and will be taken into account when generating the next bill. Energocom noted that the new regulated rates approved by NARE are effective as of September 1, and the first bills calculated based on these rates will be issued in October. For questions or to receive clarification regarding natural gas consumption charges, customers can call the Energocom call center at 1309. For subscribers who hang up before speaking with an operator, an automatic callback system is in place: they will be contacted the next business day to answer any questions they may have. // 17.09.2026 — InfoMarket.
