As noted in a statement from the state-owned company, starting with the August invoices, Energocom is introducing a new line item that reflects payments made after the end of the billing period and before the invoice date. The purpose of this change is to provide a clearer overview of the account balance and to prevent any ambiguity regarding payments already made by consumers. According to Energocom, the process of issuing August invoices is already underway, and the invoices will be sent to consumers in the first half of September. Thanks to the new presentation format, consumers will be able to more easily track payments made and the account balance as of the invoice date. Energocom noted that the invoices issued on August 25 reflected consumption and payments for the period from July 1 to July 31. Thus, payments made after July 31 could not be included in the July bill but were recorded in consumers' accounts and taken into account when updating the balance. At the same time, the amount displayed in banking apps may differ from the amount indicated on the invoice, since the information transmitted to banks and non-banking organizations includes the updated balance as of August 24, 2026, taking into account payments made prior to that date. By changing the invoice format, Energocom aims to present this information in a clearer and more understandable way for customers. // 10.09.2026 – InfoMarket.
