According to the government, the plan involves creating modern health centers, developing digital services, and building a regional hospital in Bălți. Specifically, 53.5 million euros will be allocated for rural healthcare and digitalization. Thanks to these funds, 10 rural health centers will be renovated and equipped. They will be outfitted with digital X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, ECG equipment, and laboratory testing equipment. The development of telemedicine will help family doctors consult with specialists. Digital systems will be interconnected so that authorized medical professionals can securely access the necessary patient data. The goal is to provide 90% of the population with access to electronic health records and to train more than 10,000 healthcare workers in digital skills. At the same time, 117 million euros will be allocated to the regional hospital in Bălți. It is designed to serve approximately 630,000 residents of the northern part of the country.
