Specifically, the Investment Agency announced the 25 companies selected as part of the "Top Exporters from Moldova" program following a three-stage selection process and an independent evaluation. "Top Exporters from Moldova" is a program that recognizes companies achieving outstanding results in foreign markets and contributing to strengthening Moldova's image as a supplier of competitive products and services on the international stage. The selection process began with an analysis of more than 1,300 exporting companies, which were evaluated at the initiative of the Investment Agency based on data provided by the Moldovan Customs Service, the National Bureau of Statistics, and other publicly available sources. Following a preliminary assessment, 115 companies met the minimum qualification threshold by scoring more than 33.3 points out of a maximum of 50 and were invited to participate in the second stage, which consisted of a detailed evaluation of their activities based on a participant questionnaire. In the final stage, the applications were evaluated by a selection committee comprising representatives from 12 government agencies and specialized organizations, including the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), AGEPI, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the European Business Association of Moldova (EBA Moldova), the Foreign Investors Association of Moldova (FIA Moldova), the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova (AmCham Moldova), and others. Irina Tolstousov, Deputy Director of the Investment Agency, noted that the Top Exporters from Moldova program selects companies that naturally become ambassadors for Moldova's export offerings. These are enterprises and companies that not only achieve success in international markets but also actively contribute to promoting the country's image and strengthening confidence in the national brand. These companies' products and services are exported to 50 international markets, demonstrating the competitiveness and potential of Moldova's economy. At the same time, their success opens up new opportunities for other Moldovan companies, facilitating their access to foreign markets through a proven and recognized path. The 25 companies selected for the program serve as benchmarks of export excellence and as Moldova's ambassadors in international markets. Inclusion in the Top Exporters from Moldova program will allow the 25 companies to benefit from an extensive national and international promotion program, which includes a presence on the dedicated Top Exporters from Moldova platform, inclusion in the Digital Exporters Directory, available in both print and digital formats, special video and editorial content, as well as other promotional activities organized by the Investment Agency. The achievements of these companies will be recognized at the Export Forum, which will take place on October 1 as part of Moldova Business Week 2026 (MBW26) and will bring together representatives of the business community, government agencies, and international partners. "Top Exporters from Moldova" is a program organized every two years by the Investment Agency, aimed at identifying and promoting companies that represent Moldova abroad and demonstrate that Moldovan products and services can successfully compete on the global stage. Among the 25 brands recognized as leaders in the first edition of the Top Exporters from Moldova program are: Maib, Purcari, Cricova, Vinaria din Vale, Vis, Orhei-Vit, Viorica, Medpark, Tatrabis, Monicol, Moldabela, Sandra, Farmaprim, ADD Grup, Unitech, Fani, Djofra-M, Artinox, Informbusiness, and Ja.
