Specifically, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry has informed agricultural producers of the launch of the first round of applications for financial assistance in two areas: "Support for the Establishment of Young and New Farmers" and "Support for Small Farmers and Family Farms in Rural Areas." These measures are provided for and funded under the Reform Agenda associated with the Growth Plan for Moldova for 2025–2027, as well as the Strategic Program of Agricultural Policies for 2026–2030. Applications may be submitted from October 1 through October 30 to the regional offices of the Agency for Agricultural Interventions and Payments (AIPA). Young and new farmers who have not previously received financial support from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and the Rural Environment are eligible for this assistance, which is intended to help them establish their farms. Farmers classified as micro- or small enterprises or family farms who own land parcels of up to 10 hectares are eligible for support for small farmers and family farms in rural areas. For vineyards intended for the production of wine grapes or table grapes, the area is up to 5 hectares. Financial assistance is provided in accordance with the selection criteria, the conditions for granting eligibility for support, the list of eligible activities and expenses, the intensity of support, and the conditions set forth in the fact sheets for the relevant measures of the Strategic Program of Agricultural Policies for 2026–2030, as well as the internal procedures developed by AIPA. The Ministry of Agriculture urges farmers who meet the established requirements to submit applications by the deadline and to familiarize themselves in advance with the necessary documents and conditions for receiving financial assistance. // 14.09.2026 — InfoMarket
