Moldova reduced its coal imports by 19% in 2026
Moldova has significantly reduced its coal imports since the beginning of the year, with shipments dropping particularly sharply in recent months. The Ministry of Energy attributes this to changes in demand and logistics, as well as to the situation in foreign markets, where importers are already seeking new sources of supply.
