Moldova will begin importing Romanian gas from the Black Sea starting in the fall of 2027
Moldova expects to begin importing gas from the Black Sea as early as the fall of 2027, following the launch of a major Romanian offshore project. In Chisinau, officials also discussed accelerating the development of electricity interconnections between the two countries and next steps on key infrastructure projects.
