Westing Management Solutions has entered the Moldovan energy market with modern solutions for renewable energy, energy storage, and smart digitalization, its sales volume in our country in the first year is expected to reach €5 million

This was reported by the Investment Agency, noting that the Moldovan energy market continues to attract international investors, and the newest player is Westing Management Solutions, a joint venture between Hungary, Moldova, and Ukraine, part of the international Westing Management group. The investor is entering the Moldovan market with an initial investment of €130,000 intended for the organization and operationalization of administrative processes in the country. With more than 15 years of experience in solar energy production projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and microgrids developed in more than 10 countries, Westing Management Solutions strives to become a strategic partner in the modernization of Moldova's energy infrastructure. A distinctive feature of the company is the introduction to the market of the i-EMS intelligent platform – an integrated digital solution offering a number of important components for enterprise modernization. This includes the digitalization of technological and operational processes for industrial, commercial, and logistics companies, as well as the dispatching of energy consumption, production, and storage in real time (solar panels + energy storage systems + load). In addition, the platform integrates intelligent solutions for electricity, gas, water, heat, and steam metering, as well as modern SCADA systems compatible with the existing IT infrastructure. At the same time, i-EMS includes predictive analysis based on artificial intelligence, which can be used to assess consumption and production, optimize demand, and manage energy trading. The system also enables complete management of energy services – monitoring, incident prevention, automatic optimization and loss reduction, as well as digital energy audits that identify savings potential and recommend automated solutions. Thanks to these technologies, Moldovan companies can achieve an increase in energy efficiency by 15-30%, benefiting from reduced losses and the digitalization of operations in accordance with European standards. The company's operations in Moldova are led by Marianna Bejenar, Country Director for Moldova, who coordinates interactions with authorities, investors, the business community, and technology partners, aiming to align local activities with the group's international standards. Marianna Bejenar noted that Moldova is becoming increasingly attractive for investment in the energy sector due to its accelerated integration into the European market and a strong commitment to the green transition. According to her, the liberalization of the energy market, the development of transmission and distribution infrastructure, and the adoption of European standards create a predictable and competitive environment for investors. At the same time, the growing demand for renewable energy and energy efficiency opens up vast opportunities for innovative projects. All this positions Moldova as an emerging market with high potential in the energy sector. Marianna Bejenar emphasized that Westing Management Solutions believes that Moldova has the potential to become an important hub for digital solutions and renewable energy in the region. "Our plans include expanding renewable energy projects and accelerating the implementation of modern energy efficiency solutions. We are focused on developing a smart infrastructure capable of supporting a flexible and competitive market. Herewith, we strive to strengthen strategic partnerships and attract advanced technologies that can transform the energy sector into a sustainable and future-oriented one," she said. The company estimates sales in the first year will be approximately €5 million—a strong signal of the potential of the country's energy market. Going forward, the company plans to develop commercial and industrial solar projects, implement battery energy storage systems (BESS) and smart microgrids, digitalize the energy infrastructure of large and medium-sized enterprises, and establish a regional i-EMS and dispatch solutions center. Another focus is attracting investment in green projects and digital energy infrastructure, as well as establishing partnerships with governments, companies, and institutions to accelerate the energy transition. // 11.12.2025 — InfoMarket.
