This was announced by the Minister of Energy on Moldova 1 TV channel. He explained that Moldova had secured the necessary gas volumes for the entire heating season and for the 2025–2026 gas year in advance, and that the price for March is set based on the quotations in late February. “We have signed contracts for all gas volumes for the heating season and the 2025-2026 gas year. In March, the price is tied to the quotes on the last day of February.
