According to the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC), last year aviation operators increased their revenues by 41% compared to 2024, to 10.06 billion lei. Taxes of 604.9 million lei were paid from these revenues. In particular, 280 million lei was paid to the state social insurance budget (+71%), 229 million lei to the state budget (+49%), 90 million lei to the mandatory health insurance fund (+61%), and 5.9 million lei to local budgets (+16%).
