According to the National Bureau of Vine and Wine (NBVW), the wines will be evaluated by a jury of 12 international specialists from 10 countries and 13 local experts, in strict accordance with the rules of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV). NBVW Director Stefan Iamandi noted that the national competition is a commitment to demonstrating that the high standards of Moldovan wines, for which they are valued in international markets, are upheld with the same rigor at home.
