The Customs Service is conducting public consultations on a draft resolution regarding the digitization of customs decisions
The agency has prepared a draft order on the implementation of uniform data requirements for customs declarations and decisions. The draft aims to implement the provisions of the Customs Code and harmonize national procedures with EU standards. It seeks to establish clear and predictable rules regarding data requirements related to customs decisions, using modern electronic processing methods. Specifically, the draft includes data formats and codes for 18 types of customs declarations and decisions. The implementation of the new requirements involves adapting the regulatory framework and developing IT systems. Specifically, plans call for integrating the national system with the European customs decision system, which should ensure full compatibility with the EU’s IT infrastructure. Consultations on the draft are ongoing until the end of April. // 21.04.2026 — InfoMarket.
