China intends to expand imports of agricultural products from Moldova
This was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to our country, Dong Zhihua, at a meeting with the director general of the National Agency for Food Safety, Radu Musteață. She noted that China is in favor of deepening bilateral economic and trade cooperation with Moldova. China has begun importing grape seed and sunflower seed flour from Moldova. It is currently considering applications for the supply of grape and cherry seeds from Moldova to China and is also ready to expand imports of other agricultural products from Moldova. The development of bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the field of human resources will continue. The Director General of the National Agency for Food Safety highly appreciated China's active efforts to promote the export of Moldovan agricultural products to China and bilateral exchanges of human resources. He expressed hope that China would import a wider range of high-quality Moldovan food products, including locally produced fruits, vegetable oils, and baby food. Such imports would not only contribute to Moldova's economic development but also strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries. Moldova is ready to maintain close contact with the Chinese embassy on these issues in order to promote new successes in practical cooperation between the two countries. // 19.01.2026 — InfoMarket.
