EU investors have every reason to invest in Moldova for the long term - Siegfried Mureșan
This was stated by the Co-Chair of the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee, a Romanian Member of the European Parliament, speaking in Chisinau at the EBA Business Outlook 2026 conference, organized by the European Business Association. He noted that over the past two years, the EU has adopted many beneficial decisions for the private sector regarding Moldova's European integration. "We have liberalized trade, are implementing the largest European investment plan in Moldova's history, amounting to €1.9 billion, and the reforms during the accession process are reducing bureaucracy and improving Moldova's investment climate in the long term.
