Moldova's GDP shows positive dynamics, driven by investments and exports – the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization
As noted by the ministry, Moldova's economy continues to recover from the crises of previous years, showing positive results in the third quarter of this year. In particular, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 5.2% in the third quarter of 2025, resulting in a cumulative growth of 2% for the period from January to September. The favorable economic dynamics were supported both by domestic demand, thanks to increased investment and consumption, and by stable performance in the manufacturing sectors, especially agriculture and manufacturing. The main sectors that contributed significantly to GDP growth were: agriculture: +15%; construction: +8.3%; manufacturing: +3.8%; real estate transactions: +3.2%. Positive contributions from consumption came from: gross fixed capital formation: +17.9%; private consumption: +2.9%; exports of goods: +18.5%; exports of services: +9.6%. “These results confirm the consolidation of economic activity and create favorable conditions for sustainable growth in the coming period,” emphasized the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. // 16.12.2025 — InfoMarket
