In general, in January-October 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, the trade deficit of Moldova with the EU countries increased by 1.6 times - to $2 billion 707.9 million, with the CIS countries - decreased by 11.4% - to $69.6 million, and with other countries - increased by 11.9% - to $3 billion 031.2 million. According to the NBS, the largest trade deficit of Moldova for 10 months of 2025 was in trade with China - $1 billion 184.5 million (+ 17.8%, compared to the same period in 2024).
