The procedure for making and recording payments to the state budget through the treasury system of the Ministry of Finance has changed Starting January 1
According to the State Tax Service, three new codes have been introduced since January 1, 2026. Thus, payments for preliminary pricing transactions in relation to transfer prices will be made to a separate code ECO - 114527, funds from compensation for legal costs in criminal cases will be assigned to code 142239, and the single tax paid by independent entrepreneurs will be transferred to the new code ECO 145162. At the same time, several economic classifications and corresponding codes were excluded: fees for environmental impact assessments, airport charges, proceeds from the sale of confiscated assets and currency collected in the local budget of level II, fines for minor offences imposed by the State Tax Service for violation of the terms of repatriation of material and financial resources, etc. In addition, road tax on vehicles registered in Moldova whose total weight, axle load, or dimensions exceed the permissible limits (code ECO 114634), paid incorrectly or in excess, will be transferred from one type of payment to another or returned to the payers' accounts at the request of taxpayers—the request must be sent to the National Agency for Motor Transport. // 12.01.2026 — InfoMarket
