This was discussed during the meeting, which Prime Minister Ion Chicu held with the mayors of the settlements of the Nisporeni district, as well as with representatives of ministries and departments, with whom he discussed the implementation progress and the prospects for completing the projects started in this region. The head of government noted the need to continue the implementation of such an important infrastructure project as the construction of a sports complex in the Nisporen district. At the first stage, the project envisages the construction of a modern stadium, running tracks, sanitary blocks, etc. The total cost of the project is 92 million lei, of which 67 million lei has already been allocated, and other 25 million lei remains to be found. The chairman of the Nisporeni district and the mayor of Nisporeni municipality specified that this complex will be the second largest in the country and will host international sports competitions. The National Football Federation will also assist in equipping the sports complex.
