In the first two months of 2026, ODA allocated grants totaling 16.7 million lei to 101 companies under various grant programs, and 74 entrepreneurs received preferential loans totaling 246 million lei under the 373 program
As reported by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), the beginning of this year was marked by concrete results and new opportunities for entrepreneurs, young people, and the local business environment thanks to the joint efforts of the Moldovan government and international partners. The grants allocated to businesses, the guarantees provided to them, and the preferential loans under various state programs implemented with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization increase the competitiveness of Moldovan entrepreneurs. ODA reported that, at the same time, a competition for non-repayable financial assistance instruments was announced on February 16, and 242 applications for funding were received in the first two weeks, which are currently being evaluated. Thanks to the ODA Credit Guarantee Fund, 66 entrepreneurs received guarantees worth 55.7 million lei, which facilitated their access to financing for business expansion in the amount of 167 million lei. Of these, thanks to the new credit portfolio guarantee mechanism, eight entrepreneurs received guarantees worth approximately 5.6 million lei, which facilitated their access to financing for business development worth 8.2 million lei. This mechanism allows entrepreneurs in Moldova to obtain faster access to financing. It is an innovative tool that speeds up the process of providing guaranteed loans, eliminating the need for individual approval for each case. In addition, 74 entrepreneurs received loans worth 246 million lei under the government's 373 program, intended for the implementation of investment projects with a total value of 424.2 million lei. In January-February of this year, the state partially covered the interest on loans, issuing compensation of 21.6 million lei as part of the loans provided under this program. Also during this period, as part of the FACEM Investiții Sustenabile BGK financial product, financing of 8.1 million lei was approved, provided by banks to three companies. These funds are intended for the implementation of investment projects worth 58.84 million lei, the main purpose of which is to improve the energy efficiency of enterprises. Since the launch of this product, a total of 93.8 million lei in financing has been approved for 51 entrepreneurs for the implementation of investment projects worth 206.6 million lei. To facilitate access to information on financing opportunities offered under ODA-managed programs, more than 2,200 individual consultations were held during the reporting period.
