He said that specialized companies will be selected for the implementation of the pilot project of electronic payment. At present, a package of documents is being prepared for the selected companies to start working with municipal public transport enterprises. The General Directorate of Public Transport and Communications, the Electric Transport Directorate and the City Bus Depot will conclude agreements with operators providing electronic fare services, will test a pilot project on one or two trolleybus routes and on the same number of bus routes, and monitor the operation of the system under test. Within 2-3 months, the electronic fare payment system will be implemented (installation of electronic equipment, training of employees of municipal transport companies), and then this system will be tested for a maximum of 6 months.
