The World Bank is ready to continue supporting the process of modernizing the infrastructure of Termoelectrica, the heat energy supplier in Chisinau
This was stated by representatives of the World Bank at a meeting with the management of Termoelectrica. During this meeting the WB experts’ team noted the progress of the enterprise in the framework of the project "Improving the efficiency of the district heating system" (SACET). The meeting included working sessions and field visits to a number of modernized facilities under the project. During the discussions, CEO of Termoelectrica Veaceslav Eni noted that the World Bank’s assistance was a decisive factor in the reorganization of Termoelectrica, which made a significant contribution to the development of the system and improving the quality of services provided by the company. For their part, World Bank experts expressed their readiness to continue supporting the process of modernizing the enterprise’s infrastructure. “We are fortunate to work with institutions such as Termoelectrica.
