Constitutional Court of Moldova annulled all its judgments delivered on June 7–9, acknowledging the legitimacy in electing Speaker Greceanii and approving the government of Sandu
Constitutional Court said that the abolition of its judgments is based on the actual situations in Moldova, in particular, the announcement of the transfer of power to the government of Prime Minister Maia Sandu and the coalition formed in the Moldovan parliament. It emphasized that Constitutional Court’s judgment dated June 15 is intended to become a source of social peace, respect for the rule of law and democracy and it is meant to ensure an appropriate framework for the protection of human rights by combating large-scale political instability. The Constitutional Court declared that with the repeal of the judgments dated June 7-9, the parliament headed by Zinaida Grecianii acquires constitutional status, and the regulations adopted by it until now, as well as those adopted by the government headed by Maia Sandu, are being restored. The judgment of the Constitutional Court is final, not subject to appeal, takes effect from the date of its adoption and is published in Monitorul Oficial. // 17.06.2019- InfoMarket.
