The EU allocated over 11 million lei in grants to support the 81 enterprise from the rural areas of Moldova
According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, such financing will lead to investments in the national economy totaling about 15.4 million lei. During the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the pilot program "Women in Business", which was recently held at the Ministry, 81 investment projects out of 151 registered for the competition were reviewed and approved. Half of the projects / enterprises (51%) will be engaged in the provision of services, in particular, educational and entertainment services for children, beauty services, services for organizing events and decorating; 39% of companies work in the industrial sector, and will create children's, women's and men's clothing, produce frozen foods, sweets, pastries; and 10% of companies work in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry (beekeeping, growing nuts, barley, etc.).
