DRÄXLMAIER took a pioneering role by starting dual education in Moldova in 2014. Our partner in this cooperation is professional school Nr.5. The apprenticeship program consists of a theoretical and a practical part. DRÄXLMAIER Group makes available studying and workshop rooms, all well-equipped for successful implementation of the studied theoretical topics. In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, training is done for two years in the areas of production technology, warehouse logistics personnel and mechatronics, using standards that assure a high level of training and skill.
There are three specialties that can be chosen by the apprentices: Automatic and semiautomatic machine-tools operator, Mechanized and automated storage operator or Electromechanical installing and maintaining industrial equipment.
The apprentices receive state scholarship, DRÄXLMAIER offers them apprenticeship salary, transport and meals during all the period of their apprenticeship. The studies last for two years. All graduates have priority at joining DRÄXLMAIER team after graduation. Most of all Dual Education program graduates at the company became DRÄXLMAIER employees in the previous years. The company's involvement in supporting dual technical vocational education will continue in 2019-2020. We will support the next generation of around 70 apprentices in Balti and Cahul.
