
In Moldova, the volume of sales of broadband mobile Internet access services in 2018 increased, as compared with 2017, by 16.5% up to 1 billion 058.5 thousand lei.
This was reported by the National Agency for Regulation of Electronic Communications and Information Technology, noting that the growth rate was due to an increase in the number of users and the traffic generated by them. At the same time, the average monthly income (ARPU) per user of broadband mobile Internet access via smartphones in 2018, compared to the previous year, increased by 15.3% and amounted to 34 lei. Herewith, the ARPU indicator per user of dedicated mobile Internet access increased by 0.1% - to 78.4 lei.
