In Moldova, the total sales of mobile phone services in the first quarter of 2019, compared with the same period in 2017, decreased by 2.8% (-21.9 million lei) - to 727.2 million lei.
This was reported by the National Agency for Regulation of Electronic Communications and Information Technology, noting that the data provided to NARECIT by three mobile communications service providers: Orange Moldova, Moldcell and Moldtelecom-Unite testify to this. According to the regulator, as a result of such dynamics, the average monthly income per user (ARPU) in January-March 2019 decreased by 0.2% and amounted to 68.6 lei. At the same time, Moldtelecom's ARPU amounted to 78.6 lei, from Orange Moldova - 72.8 lei, and from Moldcell - 59.6 lei.
