Germany is interested in the experience of Moldova in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).

According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of Moldova, the State Secretary for Information Technologies and Communications Vitalie Tarlev took part in a series of events to promote the image of our country, organized by the Consulate General of Moldova in Frankfurt am Main together with the German society Wirtschaftsförderung GmbH. The most important event was the round table, which brought together about 30 German companies working in the field of ICT, finance, as well as in the banking and investment sectors. During the event, the Moldovan delegation presented opportunities for doing business and investing in our country, reforms carried out in relevant areas, as well as specific opportunities for establishing business partnerships. Representatives of German companies praised Moldova’s achievements in the field of ICT, noting that many actions taken in this sector should be implemented in Germany, especially with regard to the level of development of electronic communications infrastructure, high Internet speed, access to networks and most importantly, the funds offered to business in the field of IT. They were also interested in a virtual IT park and a single tax for its residents of 7%. As part of the economic mission, Vitalie Tarlev also met with representatives of the Frankfurt-am-Main Economic Development Agency and the innovation park TechQuartier. // 25.03.2019 — InfoMarket.
