In Moldova, the opening and liquidation of a business, as well as amendments to the constituent documents will be carried out remotely.
Remote business registration and simplification of procedures related to this service were discussed at a meeting in the Economic Council under the Prime Minister. The discussions took place in the context of the implementation of the Roadmap to accelerate the process of digitizing the national economy and the development of electronic commerce. Business representatives noted that the pandemic imposed certain restrictions on the interaction of government agencies with consumers of services, and there are circumstances when entrepreneurs cannot physically perform some operations, as they are abroad or in quarantine. Therefore, in their opinion, in the context of COVID-19, it would be advisable to provide for the possibility of carrying out some procedures remotely. At the same time, representatives of the state reported that the issue of remote interaction of G2B is at the stage of development, materials are being prepared for the development of IT solutions that allow automating business registration processes. Considering that this process may take some time, it is proposed to use electronic signature and e-mail in the process of filing documents for registration and liquidation of a business, as well as changes in articles of association. This will allow to quickly solve pressing business problems without creating additional burden on government agencies. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to speed up the process of introducing remote business registration, hold a number of technical meetings and submit to the authorities a draft decision on remote business registration. // 13.08.2020 — InfoMarket.
