Gările Auto Moderne, a concessionaire company for Moldovan bus stations and terminals, has again changed its ownership

According to the Registration Chamber, one of the owners with a 25% stake, Franck Arif (a French citizen, owner of Le Bridge), left the owners by selling his share to Alexandru Vilcu. The latter already controls Gările Auto Moderne through the Ramin-Lux legal entity, which owns a 25% stake in the concessionaire company. As a result of this transaction, Alexandru Vilcu owns 50% of the authorized capital of Gările Auto Moderne, another 50% is owned by the Ukrainian citizen Oksana Demchenko. In general, the authorized capital of the company is 75 thousand lei. It is worth noting that Gările Auto Moderne was registered on November 12, 2018, and its founders were ExFactor-Grup and Luca Muko. However, in June 2019, it became known that the composition of the shareholders of the concessionaire had completely changed: then Oksana Demchenko, a citizen of Ukraine, acquired 50%, the French investor Franck Arif bought 25% and Ramin-Lux Moldovan company - 25%. Also in June, the director of Garile Auto Moderne was replaced - the leadership of the company passed from Vitalie Mrug to Iurie Moroz. Let us recall that Gările Auto Moderne was created specifically to participate in the implementation of the project to modernize and improve the efficiency of the branches of the Gările și Stațiile Auto. In December 2018, a contract was concluded with the company on a public-private partnership for the implementation of the project “Modernization and Improving the Efficiency of the Activities of IS Gările și Stațiile Auto branches”. According to the contract, the private company Gările Auto Moderne pledged to invest at least 200 million lei in the modernization of Moldovan bus stations and bus terminals over the course of 25 years. In accordance with the signed PPP contract, Gările Auto Moderne, as a private partner, must ensure the reconstruction of the country's bus stations and bus terminals according to European standards within 3 years from the date of signing the contract, and upon the expiration of the contract all partnership assets should be transferred free of charge into the ownership of the state partner. The contract was signed following an earlier open tender to select a private partner for the implementation of the modernization project. // 09.09.2019 – InfoMarket
