Moldova extends the state of emergency in health care until July 31.
Moldovan Prime Minister Ion Chicu said during a briefing on Friday that this decision was adopted by the National Emergency Public Health Commission. According to Chicu, the decision was adopted taking into account the situation in the world, in the region and in Moldova. So, by the end of July, most of the current restrictions will remain in Moldova - the activities of leisure and entertainment parks, discos and nightclubs are prohibited, the ban on holding ceremonies remains, kindergartens, recreation camps, etc. will not operate. At the same time, from July 16 some concessions are provided for gyms and fitness clubs; swimming pools will start operating; resorts, recreation centers, etc. will start operation stepwise. Citizens arriving in Moldova, as before, will have to comply with the 14-day quarantine. The full decision of the Commission will be published on the government website. It is worth noting that over the last day 258 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Moldova, and the total number of confirmed cases of infection reached 18,924. //10.07.2020 - InfoMarket.
