Moldova will negotiate with the Council of Europe Development Bank on providing a loan of € 70 million to respond urgently to COVID-19 and support the SME sector.
The government approved the start of negotiations on a draft framework loan agreement between Moldova and the Council of Europe Development Bank on the implementation of the project “Emergency response to COVID-19 and support for micro, small and medium enterprises”. The composition of the negotiating group, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sergiu Puscuta, includes representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, and the Ministry of Economy.
